Research

I work in the Developmental Resource for Biophysical Imaging Opto-Electronics (DRBIO) group at Cornell University. DRBIO belongs jointly to the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the School of Applied and Engineering Physics. My main focus is designing and building hardware for a next-generation Multiphoton Microscope (MPM). One of my current projects is the development of a device that can eliminate motion artifact from MPM images taken in vivo. The device will monitor the subject's heart and breathing rates, predict the next breath, and momentarily disable laser scanning during each breath.

If you would like to read more about me and other acronyms I have been associated with, please see my résumé .
